Members will receive a 60-day free trial, followed by a monthly subscription fee of 4 SMS/8 counters, which includes the application, access to a number of video ringtones and free data for downloading Vringo. Vringo also brings to Patlican members a library of pay-per-clip premium video ringtones, culled from the company’s relationships with international content owners such as leading music aggregator INGrooves and local Turkish content partners. These video ringtones will range in price from 10 to 16 SMS, with a 50-percent discount for Patlican members.
Vodafone Music in UK. Vodafone has just launched music download store for the UK market. It will allow users to preview a 30 second clip before opting to purchase. Singles will retail at £0.99 per download, amd Albums will sell for 7.99 pounds. As to what will happen with MusicStation, it is somewhat different, Currently users pay 1.99 pounds per week and can download an unlimited number of songs. Sony Ericsson Alicia Walkman Clamshell (leaked). This is a new SE handset codenamed “Alicia” that is a stylish Walkman clamshell with two displays. It’s quite the same thing as the already known W980i with small differences. With emphasis to the animations that appear on the outer and hidden display it’s another phone that could be seen as an emotional series phone. Its outer screen will feature some nice Walkman animations or the current weather condition, changing the theme depending on the time of the day. The so called “Alicia” will support TrackID and will be capable to playback both music and video files.
