Android OS RC30 Firmware Update for T-Mobile G1 to fix Android Jailbreak. The new Android OS RC30 update is being rolled out by Google to Fix Potential Android Jailbreak. It will apparently remedy the exploit that enables users to gain root access on their G1 handsets via Android’s telnetd service. T-Mobile G1 owners will apaprently get the update over the next few days.
According to Google,
We’ve been notified of this issue (Jailbreaking of Android) and have developed a fix. We’re currently working with our partners to push the fix out and updating the open source code base to reflect these changes.

First Symbian Foundation Mobile Phones in 2010. Nokia said that The first devices using Symbian Foundation open-source code for mobile devices will become available in 2010. The Symbian Foundation itself will take shape in early 2009, after Nokia’s intended full acquisition of Symbian in the fourth quarter of this year–a development that is, of course, subject to regulatory approval.
