Verizon Palm Treo 700p ROM update. A new ROM update has been pushed out by Palm for its Verizon Palm Treo 700p, it’s version 1.11. This is a radio ROM update to fix a phone reset issue that occurs under certain specific and rare conditions. The Palm Treo 700p’s v1.11 ROM can only be applied to handsets that are already running the v1.10 ROM. In case your Palm smartphone is still sporting v1.06 ROM. You have to upgrade to 1.10 ROM before applying this new v1.11 ROM update.

Sprint Palm Treo 800w Now Live. As a follow-up to the previous Sprint Palm Treo 800w Live Pictures, Sprint has finally launched the most anticipated Palm Treo 800w. The QWERTY-enabled device goes live on Sprint’s website. Palm Treo is slimmer, sleeker, and more power-packed than any of its Treo predecessors. The next-generation Palm smartphone comes with Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, GPS, WiFi (with a dedicated toggle switch), and EVDO Rev. A tucked under its 320×320 touchscreen display.
