Garmin Nuvifone in White. A new rumor which is based on the questionable images you see here, said that Garmin Nuvifone may be available in White. Garmin is still expected to start shipping the Garmin Nuvifone in Black for $500 in Q3 2008, but if this latest rumor pans out, we could see the touchscreen handset released in both White and Black. The $500 price was before Apple iPhone 3G was announced at $200. Maybe we can expect a lower price tag when it actually comes out. Stay tuned.

Samsung U940 Glyde from Verizon on May 9. There is a rumor said that the Samsung U940 Glyde will finally launch on May 9 with a $200 price tag on 2-year contract. A one-year contract gets you the Glyde for a still-manageable $370, while the outright purchase price will hit $420.
Asda: Sagem, Nokia handsets for £5. Asda has launched Britain’s lowest priced Pay As You Go mobile phone deal, selling handsets for £5 and with “no strings attached.” Over 50,000 of the handset will be available at stores across the UK while stocks last.
Motorola Z8m Slider Phone. A slider phone by Motorola makes its debut in Korea. Motorola has outfitted this revised Motorola Z8m slider with a speed 7.2Mbps HSDPA radio. Motorola Moto Z8m offers a 2.2-inch QVGA display, 2 megapixel camera, 4GB of built-in memory, Bluetooth, and USB connectivity. The Motorola Z8m should hit Korean shores soon with a 500,000 won ($500) price tag. 
Vodafone + Tiscali Acquisition? According to Guardian, Tiscali, the telephone and internet service provider operating in Britain and Italy will be in race to be acquired. Vodafone is interested in the Anglo-Italian ISP Tiscali and it’s reported that Tiscali’s board prefers selling both its UK and Italian subsidiaries together rather than separately. In addition to Vodafone, a host of other companies are also interested in Tiscali — including BSkyB, Orange, Carphone Warehouse, Telecom Italia, Fastweb and Sky Italia — but
