New HTC Touch Diamond Firmware - 850Mhz radio ROM. We know that HTC Touch Diamond has a lack of support for the 850Mhz GSM frequency band in the U.S. Fortunately, XDA-developers forum has posted a new firmware that enables 850Mhz support in the HTC Touch Diamond. With this ROM, your handset should be a quad-band GSM and ‘US-friendly’ smartphone. You can grab it from the forum’s webpage here. Note: Use at your own risk.

Sony Ericsson F305 Gaming Phone, S302 Snapshot (leaked). Two of new Sony Ericsson cellphones which will be announced on June 17th have been leaked, the devices are SE F305 and S302. Sony Ericsson F305 is the quad-band GSM + EDGE handset which is a low-to-mid range device measuring 96×47×14.6 mm and weighing 97.5 grams. It has dedicated gaming buttons around its 2-inch 176×220 screen, and loud stereo speakers on the back to make the gaming experience more enjoyable. It has Bluetooth support, 2 megapixel camera, Memory Stick Micro (M2) slot, FM radio, music player with TrackID support. The F305 offers a set of PlayStation-like gaming keys just above the display, as well as a shortcut key to your games. Three games come pre-loaded with the device - Bowling, Bass fishing, and Jockey. BlackBerry 9100 KickStart More Pictures. From the previous posts, we’re already aware of this BlackBerry Kickstart Clamshell on T-Mobile USA (more details). It’s good to see that RIM is preparing to launch its first clamshell flip phone. From the last report we know that the mobile phone will be a quad-band (850/900/1800/1900Mhz) GSM radio, 2 megapixel camera, WiFi, and a 3.5mm headphone jack into the device. The internal display is reported to be a QVGA 240×320 jobby, while the external one display sports a 160×128 pixel resolution. The SureType keyboard is apparently a next-generation version of the double-letter keyboard, and BlackBerry OS 4.6. Following the previous post about Asus Glide Mobile OS UI, and now the UI has been tapped to run on top of the Windows Mobile platform on the ASUS ZX1 Lamborghini-themed mobile phone. New Motorola 5 megapixel Kodak Cameraphone (ZN5? Another MotoZINE or PERLX?). A new 5 megapixel camera phone from Motorola with the Kodak lens was discovered by Boy Genius. We’re not sure what this thing is called, Motorola ZINE ZN5 has also been spotted rocking a 5-megapixel shooter from Kodak, in candy-bar (monoblock) form. HTC P3400i PDA phone. HTC unveiled a new PDA phone - P3400i. The device runs Windows Mobile 6 Professional. Yeah, Most of the great WinMo devices run Windows Mobile 6.1. I think, it targets entry-level smartphone users and as such it provides a solid value for the money.

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 white paper shows two versions (X1a and X1c). There are two XPERIA X1 variants, X1a and X1c. Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1a will sport a quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900Mhz) radio and a tri-band (850/1900/2100Mhz) UMTS/HSPA radio for 3G data connectivity, while the X1c changes things up with a tri-band (900/1900/2100Mhz) UMTS/HSPA 3G radio. We’ve heard Asus Galaxi Mini P320 - Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro Smartphone with GPS before, and here’s now another smartphone from Asus, the P560, which also runs Windows Mobile Pro 6.1. The quad-band (850/900/1800/1900Mhz) GSM ASUS P560 packs in a dual-band 3.6Mbps HSDPA radio, aGPS, WiFi, 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus, Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR, microSDHC slot, 256MB ROM / 128MB RAM.
There’s a front-facing video camera which should allow for video-calls where available, and the 2.8-inch touchscreen display should make for easy navigating through the fresh Windows Mobile 6.1.
