Nokia E63 officially announced. Following the recent Nokia E63 appeared at the Symbian Smartphone Show, the Nokia Eseries smartphone has finally been announced by Nokia. The Nokia E63 is the cheaper and low-end version of the more elegant Nokia E71. Both are significantly more compact than Nokia E61i.
Nokia E63 vs E71 Specifications:
+ Instead of the E71’s stainless steel casing, Nokia E63 is now more plasticy.
+ Nokia E63 has an improved QWERTY keyboard — “CTRL and “CHR” now have separate keys and so do “@” and “/”.
+ Nokia E63 is slightly thicker than the E71, measuring 113×59×13 mm/126g as opposed to the E71’s 114×57×10 mm/127g.
+ If Nokia E71 has a 2.5mm jack, the E63 has now a “more regular” 3.5mm audio jack.
+ Unlike the popular Nokia E71, Nokia E63 lacks GPS.

Samsung i770 Saga, Samsung Omnia, and HTC Touch Pro on Verizon in November. A new report says that three handsets will be coming to Verizon in November, they are Samsung i770 Saga, Samsung Omnia, and HTC Touch Pro.
Samsung i770 is apparently the successor to the previous Samsung i760 model, it has D-pad / mouse mode setup. Samsung Omnia features a large touchscreen, Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro, a 5MP camera, GPS, 8GB of internal memory and more. HTC Touch Pro is a slider with a full-sized QWERTY keyboard.

AT&T Pantech Slate caught in the wild. Following the previous reports about AT&T Pantech Matrix, Samsung Propel, Pantech Slate, AT&T Quickfire launched, the Pantech Slate has been spotted in the wild. Coming with a slim form-factor and the QWERTY keyboard, the Pantech Slate features a 1.3 megapixel camera, and will be available in Black and Royal Blue. It’s available for $49.99 with new contract.

Nokia E63 spotted in the wild. Following the popular Nokia E71 Phone of the Year 2008, a new rumor says that Nokia is apparently preparing another QWERTY keyboard equipped smartphone like E71 coming with no metal construction (plastic only) except Navikey and camera module, it’s Nokia E63. The mobile phone has been caught in the wild.

HP iPAQ Data Messenger and iPAQ Voice Messenger unveiled. Two new smartphones - HP iPAQ Data Messenger and HP iPAQ Voice Messenger have been unveiled. One of both comes with a touchscreen and the other one a ROKR-style QWERTY keyboard. Both devices come with Windows Mobile 6.1, HSDPA support, WiFi, GPS receiver, 3 megapixel camera with LED flash, Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR and a microSD memory slot.

Sharp Softbank 9225H Mini-Netbook. A new handset ‘Softbank 9225H’ equipped with a qwerty keyboard like a PC has been unveiled by Sharp during CEATEC 2008. The ’sub-netbook’/'mini-laptop’ comes with a 3.5-inch full-wide VGA display, the Softbank 9225H supports 1-Seg, music playback, email functionality and expandable microSDHC slot.

Following the recent LG Prada 2 Specifications, The successor to LG KE850 Prada phone, LG and PRADA Group (Prada) finally announced that the partnership that created the PRADA Phone by LG will release its second handset before the end of the year. The specification is basically like the i780 model with some improvements.
It features Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, QWERTY keyboard, HSDPA support, WiFi, GPS, memory card slot, and a camera.
The price could be around $199 after MIR.

Peek Handheld for Mobile Email. Peek is a stripped down handheld device with a QWERTY keyboard that handles email, nothing else (No Phone, No Frills). Yeah, This is a basic device for mobile users who don’t want unnecessary addition with lower price and simpler feature.
Peek is set to debut in Target on Sept 14th for $100 with T-Mobile service running $15 a month.
