Following on previous Sprint Treo 800w Release Date and details, the previous rumor said that July 22 is the expected launch window for the Palm Treo 800w, And now we hear a scanned inventory sheet for Sprint was posted at HowardForums confirmed that the handset will drop on July 13, not July 22. Sprint Treo 800w will also sport a button on top of the device to toggle WiFi on/off. For business customers, they can expect to get their hands on the new hotness from Palm starting July 9. Windows Mobile 6.1 Update for AT&T’s Motorola Q9c. Following on the previous report, WinMo 6.1 Update for Sprint’s Motorola Q9c, AT&T has announced that subscribers with Motorola Q9h smartphones will be getting a Windows Mobile 6.1 update in the near future. According to Mike who revealed this, It looks like Motorola is prepping for the release of the WM 6.1 upgrade for AT&T Q9h. Motorola’s website links to what is a placeholder and is not the actual update. We have no information on a release date, but we’ll let you know when it’s available so you’re not spamming “refresh” on the Motorola Software Update Page.

Battlestar Galactica Mobile Game by Glu Mobile. Another shoot-em-up game for mobile will be released by Glu Mobile (via its Superscape division). This mobile phone game is based on Sci Fi Channel’s Battlestar Galactica. The action game places the player aboard the Galactica in a top-down shooter position for an adventure that stretches from one end of the galaxy to another.
Battlestar Galactica mobile game features 24 missions plus the training mode, and quite solid graphics. In the space-based shooter, players can pilot three types of customizable Viper or Raptor ships while defending the human refugee fleet against relentless Cylon attacks. HTC Touch Pro (aka Raphael) to be launched by O2 Germany under its XDA lineup of smartphones. As a follow-up to the previous post (HTC Touch Pro (aka Raphael) now Official), There’s news said that O2 Germany will launch its version of the HTC Touch Pro (Raphael) under the Xda brand (the name isn’t unveiled yet) later this summer as well. The “O2’s Raphael” which is powered by a Qualcomm MSM 7201A CPU at 528 MHz will feature Windows Mobile 6.1, a 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera and on the front, the VGA camera for video telephony. iPhone for Spain via Movistar. We’ve heard that rumor from the previous post, iPhone in February : Spain, Italy, Switzerland, and we’ve wondered what happened to Spain. The country was left out in all iPhone announcements during last couple of weeks. Finally.. Movistar has been announced as an official partner to bring Apple’s iPhone for Spain. Samsung Steel for Vodafone. A new Samsung slider phone is heading to Vodafone, it comes with brushed metal surfaces and a navpad that looks quite similar to the interactive one found on the Samsung Soul. The cellphone also reminds us on the Nokia 6500 Slide. Samsung Steel will feature tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, HSDPA, 3 megapixel camera with 3x digital zoom, 2.2-inch screen, Bluetooth, media player, and also microSD memory expansion slot. No word on Vodafone Samsung Steel pricing nor release date yet. Stay tuned.

Palm Treo 850 Leaked Pictures. Following Palm Treo 800w Live Picture, In addition to the 800w, Palm is designing a thinner, sleeker Treo for GSM networks, BGR confirms through a leak. The Treo 850 is likely to replace the 750 but should be thinner at roughly the same depth as a BlackBerry 8800 and will move the phone’s design upscale with a chromed directional pad and an overall look that more closely reflects a new style introduced with the Centro. BlackBerry Pearl 8120 + WiFi for Rogers Canada? According to Mobile in Canada, Rogers BlackBerry Pearl 8120 with WiFi support will be available soon. It seems not only will the 8120 model be out soon in Canada, but also 8820 and 8320. WiFi-enabled BlackBerry Pearl 8120 is already available in the U.S. through AT&T and T-Mobile.
