BlueMaemo turns Maemo-powered devices into a remote control for your computer. BlueMaemo is a remote controller program for the Maemo-powered devices such as Nokia N800 and N810 Internet Tablet. With BlueMaemo you can turn your Maemo-powered device in a mixed Bluetooth keyboard-and-mouse device through the HID Bluetooth profile. BlueMaemo uses HID Bluetooth profile, hence you’ll need to have a Bluetooth-enabled PC (most new laptops are), which also runs Windows XP SP2/SP3, XP Media Center, Vista or Linux BlueZ. Series 3 TiVos, and TiVoHDs, now have an open tcp port for sending remote control commands. This program puts a user interface on top of that, allowing you to control your TiVo with your iPhone or iPod Touch. With TiVo Detection, it can now detect TiVos in your house (on your network). TiVoRemote can also download the Now Playing data from the TiVo. With this data, you can browse the available programs, and start playing them automatically.
