Rogers Talkspot - New brand for Home Calling ZoneRogers Talkspot - New brand for Home Calling Zone. Rogers Wireless in Canada renames its Rogers UMA (Unlimited Mobile Access) service from “Home Calling Zone” to “Talkspot”.

This service allows you to make unlimited calls when you are in your home calling zone. There’re two phones they’re pushing with the service, BlackBerry Pearl and Nokia 6086.

Rogers’ BlackBerry Smartphone Roadmap (leaked). Following the previous Rogers BlackBerry Bold on July 25th, we’ve recently heard a new leak of BlackBerry Smartphones Roadmap on Rogers Wireless. The BlackBerry smartphones are BlackBerry Bold, KickStart, and Javelin. As the last report, BlackBerry Bold is coming on July 25th. No exact date, but the BlackBerry KickStart should be available on Rogers in mid/late September. Last but not least, BlackBerry Javelin should be available towards the end of November or early December. The fact that Rogers will carry both the Bold and the Javelin confirms that the Javelin is very much a replacement to the BlackBerry Curve. If this is true, Canadians will be the first to get their hands on the smartphone ahead of the United States, AT&T BlackBerry Bold will be the second. No word on official pricing yet, or whether this release date will even be true. Stay tuned.
