This is a radio ROM update to fix a phone reset issue that occurs under certain specific and rare conditions. The Palm Treo 700p’s v1.11 ROM can only be applied to handsets that are already running the v1.10 ROM. In case your Palm smartphone is still sporting v1.06 ROM. Alltel Treo 755p ROM update. A new ROM update for Palm Treo 755p has been released on the Alltel network. Palm only said: “This software update is for a phone reset issue that occurs under certain specific and rare conditions.” This new version 1.03 firmware seems like a stability update.
