StyleTap’s Palm OS Emulator for iPhone, iPod Touch. We just heard, Palm Nova - Linux-based Palm 2.0 OS?, and while we’re still waiting for it, you may want to use some of the older Palm OS apps on other, non-Palm OS powered devices. StyleTap just announced that it will be officially bringing its Palm OS emulator to the iPhone and iPod touch. Back in February StyleTap released a video demo of the StyleTap running Palm OS apps on a iPod Touch. The company says they have been overwhelmed by the level of interest and the video has been viewed over 800,000 times.
According to the company technically, StyleTap CrossPlatform is an excellent fit with the iPhone, as the powerful processor and large screen allows applications written for Palm OS devices to run at full speed and at full screen resolution. As a result of this collaboration, BlackBerry smartphone customers will enjoy easy mobile access to Windows Live Messenger and an enhanced level of integration between Windows Live Hotmail and the BlackBerry platform.
