Samsung SGH-i780 as ‘Samsung i788′ for AT&T? A new rumor reported that some handset manufacturer representatives at a recent AT&T store managers’ meeting started showing off their latest wares. One of which appeared to be the Samsung i780. Technically, it would have been the Samsung SGH-i788, which has the bands necessary for the US 3G networks. Samsung i788 is just a little thicker than the BlackJack II, features WiFi, GPS, and 3G. The rep mentioned that the Samsung i788 was not yet released instead of “Over the air.“

Samsung i900 Omnia announced. Following the last post, Samsung SGH-i900 New Live Photos, This handset is finally unveiled by Samsung. This mobile phone is based on Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro, the Samsung i900 offers a 3.2-inch WideQVGA display (240 x 400 pixels) and an optical mouse much like the one found in the Samsung i780.

Samsung SGH-i780 for U.S. (as the SGH-i788?). We’ve heard Samsung SGH-i780 Confirmed for Europe in the previous post, Recently, a new Samsung phone, listed by the FCC which is called the Samsung SGH-i788, and it seems to be some special version of the already existing i780 model. If you compare FCC’s drawing of the SGH-i788 with the SGH-i780, it looks quite similar.
