Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 launch date. Sony Ericsson announces 30 September 2008 as the official launch date for the highly anticipated Xperia X1 – initially available to consumers in the UK, Germany and Sweden. The handset will be available in other markets across Europe, Asia and Latin America throughout Q4 2008. Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 features Windows Mobile 6.1, 3.2 megapixel camera with auto focus, quad-band EDGE plus 3G, aGPS, Wi-Fi, 800 x 480 pixels 3-inch touchscreen display, up to 400 MB phone memory, microSD memory card.
