Digia @Web is a new, fully finger touch controllable, web browser for UIQ phones. Designed for UIQ 3 and Symbian OS the @Web provides the best mobile browsing experience ever seen on Symbian OS based mobile phones. @Web engine is based on the open-source S60 webkit engine version 3.1 ported to UIQ platform by Digia. Other users of the webkit browser engine include Apple Safari browser, iPhone, Google Android and Nokia S60 browser. Documents To Go Premium Edition 4 for Symbian UIQ adds support for the Office 2007. A new version 4 for the Documents To Go Premium Edition has been released by DataViz. Interestingly, the application now supports editing of Office 2007 Files. It also includes such features as support for password-protected files, support for text (.TXT) files, ability to edit and insert hyperlinks and bookmarks in word processing files, view charts in spreadsheets, and freeze/unfreeze panes in spreadsheets. Digia @Web - 1st Finger Touch Web Browser for Symbian UIQ. A first full finger touch web browser for UIQ platform phones has been created by Digia Plc. This application which is called Digia @Web is designed for UIQ 3 and Symbian OS. The mobile browser is based on the open-source webkit browser engine ported to UIQ by Digia, and a whole new browser UI that gives powerful and intuitive access to true web content. It is based on the same core Nokia’s S60 browser and Apple’s Safari use - Webkit. Other users of the webkit browser engine also include iPhone and Google Android. Sony Ericsson to release new phones on June 17th? A rumor said that we could see new Sony Ericsson devices on June 17th. Nothing is confirmed yet, but if it happens, there’s a probability that we’ll see the two Symbian UIQ smartphones - G702 BeiBei (Sony Ericsson G702 BeiBei, Z780i approved by FCC) and P5 Paris (Sony Ericsson P5 Paris Clear Shots).
