BlackBerry Storm officially announced. Following the previous reports about the first touch screen BlackBerry smartphone: BlackBerry Storm User Guide, BlackBerry Storm 9530 Details, and more. Finally, RIM, Verizon Wireless, and Vodafone Group announced that the BlackBerry Storm will be available later this fall, exclusively to Verizon Wireless customers in the U.S. and Vodafone customers in Europe, India, Australia and New Zealand. The BlackBerry Storm smartphone comes with an innovative touch-screen that actually depresses ever so slightly when the screen is pressed. The user distinctly feels the screen being pressed and released with a gentle “click,” similar to the feeling of a key on a physical keyboard or a button on a mouse. The “clickable” touch-screen gives the user positive confirmation that they have made a selection and the result is a dramatically enhanced touch interface and a highly-intuitive typing experience.

BlackBerry Storm for Bell Canada. An unconfirmed rumor reported that the touchscreen BlackBerry Storm will be exclusively come to Bell in Canada. According to an anonymous tipster:
“Bell Mobility will be in fact releasing the Storm in mid Q4/early Q1. Also it will be exclusive for 6 months to the Bell system. So Telus will have to wait.”

Touchscreen BlackBerry Storm for Vodafone UK confirmed. A new report confirmed that the new smartphone from RIM will be available before November in time for Christmas, with an official announcement from RIM, the maker of the BlackBerry, due at the start of October.
Touchscreen BlackBerry Storm is expected to come with 3G (both CDMA and GSM), a 3.2 megapixel camera with 360×480 touchscreen, Virtual keypad with haptic feedback.

TouchScreen BlackBerry 9500 Thunder More Pictures leaked. The first touchscreen-enabled BlackBerry has been leaked again with more pictures. This RIM smartphone has a 480×360 pixel display, version 4.7 of the BlackBerry OS, multimedia player.
