Documents To Go Premium Edition 4 for Symbian UIQ adds support for the Office 2007. A new version 4 for the Documents To Go Premium Edition has been released by DataViz. Interestingly, the application now supports editing of Office 2007 Files. It also includes such features as support for password-protected files, support for text (.TXT) files, ability to edit and insert hyperlinks and bookmarks in word processing files, view charts in spreadsheets, and freeze/unfreeze panes in spreadsheets. Flash Video Support Update for CorePlayer Mobile. One of the best digital media players has been updated to include the Flash video support — actually that’s Adobe Flash Multimedia Container (FLV, F4V) support. In addition, the new version also adds support for site specific functions like “Revision3 via RSS” with an idea to allow users to more easily subscribe to their favorite podcasts. That doesn’t mean you can view Flash-based vids in your mobile browser, but you can view .FLV files in the newest CorePlayer version, which is 1.2.4. SlingPlayer Update for Windows Mobile (iPhone possible). Sling has announced that they’ll be releasing an updated version of their SlingPlayer for Windows Mobile devices this Spring (both touchscreen and non-touchscreen). They’re also working on an optimized Nokia N95 8GB client, and going to expand their stand-alone Symbian clients to include UIQ support as well.
