HTC T-Mobile Shadow II with UMA. Following on previous post, HTC CONV100 on FCC, T-Mobile Shadow II?, A new report says that HTC will make Shadow II UMA handset for T-Mobile USA. It will be T-Mobile USA’s first Windows Mobile-based UMA (unlicensed mobile access) handset. T-Mobile Shadow 2 is the successor to the original T-Mobile Shadow (basically a re-branded HTC Juno). The company planning to launch the device in the fourth quarter of this year (Q4 2008).

Rogers BlackBerry Pearl 8120 now available. As a follow-up to the last post, BlackBerry Pearl 8120 + WiFi for Rogers Canada?, The smartphone is now available on Rogers Wireless. It’s compatible with Rogers’ UMA VoIP network, meaning you’ll be able to use it for low-cost international phone calls, while in a hotspot.
Rogers BlackBerry Pearl 8120 is available for CA$149.99 with a 3-year contract and the price goes up if you opt for a 2-year or a single-year contact.

T-Mobile Shadow 2 (HTC Juno) Spy Picture. T-Mobile is apparently going to keep up with their Shadow lineup. Look at the spy picture, it is purportedly the T-Mobile Shadow II. The successor to the T-Mobile Shadow sports a similar design to its predecessor, but changes things up with some rounded edges and a glossy finish.
