Following on previous post, HTC CONV100 on FCC, T-Mobile Shadow II?, A new report says that HTC will make Shadow II UMA handset for T-Mobile USA. It will be T-Mobile USA’s first Windows Mobile-based UMA (unlicensed mobile access) handset. T-Mobile Shadow 2 is the successor to the original T-Mobile Shadow (basically a re-branded HTC Juno). The company planning to launch the device in the fourth quarter of this year (Q4 2008).

It’s compatible with Rogers’ UMA VoIP network, meaning you’ll be able to use it for low-cost international phone calls, while in a hotspot.

Rogers BlackBerry Pearl 8120 is available for CA$149.99 with a 3-year contract and the price goes up if you opt for a 2-year or a single-year contact.

Look at the spy picture, it is purportedly the T-Mobile Shadow II. The successor to the T-Mobile Shadow sports a similar design to its predecessor, but changes things up with some rounded edges and a glossy finish.
