There’s a rumor said that the 3G iPhone could possibly launch with support for 42Mbps HSPA data speeds - possible through a more advanced HSPA technology known as Evolved HSPA. A senior executive for Australia’s Telstra wireless carrier has allegedly told the region’s ChannelNews that Apple’s upcoming iPhone revision will be capable of supporting an advanced 3G connection at speeds of 42 megabits per second. Sprint’s Palm Treo 755p Temporarily discontinued. This smartphone is no longer listed on this wireless carrier’s web site. The phasing out of the Palm Treo 755p on Sprint is a bit puzzling, given that Palm just recently rolled out a palm treo 755p firmware update to the handset.
