Verizon Wireless + Photobucket launch Instant Mobile Photo Uploading. Verizon Wireless and Photobucket announced the availability of a new mobile photo service on select Verizon Wireless handsets that enables Verizon Wireless customers to easily send photos from a mobile device to a Photobucket album. The application will launch exclusively for Verizon Wireless customers and is available for download from Verizon Wireless mobile storefront by texting ‘photob’ to 2777, in the Community and Sharing category of the Verizon Wireless Get It Now catalog or by visiting photobucket.com/mobile.
The application is available for 13 handsets. The service is available now from Verizon Wireless, which enables the user to send unlimited mobile photos to their Photobucket account for a monthly subscription fee of $2.99.
Verizon GlobalEmail Data Plans for BlackBerry Storm. Verizon Wireless customers traveling for business or pleasure in both the U.S. and abroad can use GlobalEmail on their BlackBerry Storms to access corporate e-mail attachments as well as personal or POP3 e-mail accounts. Verizon Wireless’ unlimited GlobalEmail Plan offers one flat-rate data pricing and covers Web browsing, picture messaging and Visual Voice Mail in the U.S. as well as overseas. 
Verizon Wireless services being offered by Qwest. Qwest announced that it is now offering Verizon Wireless services to all new residential and business customers in its residential service area. Through the five-year agent agreement announced earlier this year, new Qwest customers can now purchase Verizon Wireless products and services, including handsets, smartphones and BlackBerry devices, as well as high-speed wireless broadband services for e-mail, Internet access and multimedia services, such as mobile music and video.

Verizon Loopt - Social Mapping Service to Mobile Phones. Verizon announced social-mapping service Loopt. With Loopt, Verizon Wireless customers can leverage their phones’ location-based services capabilities to share location information, status messages and geo-tagged photos with their community of friends.
