Recently, The Wall Street Journal confirmed that the all-touchscreen BlackBerry handset will be out exclusively for Verizon Wireless in the U.S. and Vodafone abroad. Release date is set for Q3 2008 meaning September at the latest. We already heard before that Sony Ericsson will release XPERIA (XPERIA X1 to launch in mid-September?), 3G iPhone may also be announced (3G iPhone will launch at WWDC 2008, to be priced from $399). Wow, those will definitely make us more confused to decide which to buy.

Huawei May Sell a Stake AbroadHuawei May Sell a Stake Abroad? According to The Wall Street Journal, Huawei is considering selling a large portion–possibly even a majority–of its handset business to a foreign investor. The Chinese maker of telecommunications equipment said it will use the investment to help it enter the North American market and become a supplier of handsets to North American wireless network operators. The sale, which could total in the billions of dollars, is in the earliest stages of discussions. Stay tuned.
