Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 launch date. Sony Ericsson announces 30 September 2008 as the official launch date for the highly anticipated Xperia X1 – initially available to consumers in the UK, Germany and Sweden. The handset will be available in other markets across Europe, Asia and Latin America throughout Q4 2008. Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 features Windows Mobile 6.1, 3.2 megapixel camera with auto focus, quad-band EDGE plus 3G, aGPS, Wi-Fi, 800 x 480 pixels 3-inch touchscreen display, up to 400 MB phone memory, microSD memory card. The mobile phone is available in solid black and steel silver.

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 for Vodafone soon. You may have already heard SongLive X1 - Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 Clone, Now this news is for the original one. Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 will be coming soon to Vodafone in United Kingdom in October. No word on the exact date, but Vodafone’s coming soon section has already a page dedicated to the Windows Mobile superphone. Oct is still rumored as the launch date. Stay tuned.

Hutchinson’s Three will launch Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 in November with plans that start from 30 GBP a month. XPERIA X1 is a multimedia smartphone that features a 3-inch stylus-based WVGA touchscreen, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 3G with HSDPA and Wi-Fi.

Following the previous report, Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 white paper shows two versions (X1a and X1c), A new white paper reveals more details, there are two important details added; Sony Ericsson has now confirmed that the device will ship with 256MB of SDRAM and 512MB of NAND Flash, and the battery life (the high-capacity 1500 mAh lithium polymer battery), it says will clock in at 10 hours talk time using GSM or 6.5 hours using UMTS or 3.1 hours if you’re making video calls all the time.
