Motorola ZN200 passed the FCC. As a follow-up to the previous post, Motorola MotoZINE ZN200 Leaked Specifications, This handset was finally spotted passing the FCC hurdle. Motorola ZN200 is a low end dual band GSM (850/1900) slider with small display and 2 megapixel camera with 8x digital zoom, video recording, features Windows Media Player 11 for your mp3s, FM Radio, 2.5 mm headset jack, Bluetooth and mini USB connector.

Samsung Steel for Vodafone. A new Samsung slider phone is heading to Vodafone, it comes with brushed metal surfaces and a navpad that looks quite similar to the interactive one found on the Samsung Soul. The cellphone also reminds us on the Nokia 6500 Slide. Samsung Steel will feature tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, HSDPA, 3 megapixel camera with 3x digital zoom, 2.2-inch screen, Bluetooth, media player, and also microSD memory expansion slot. No word on Vodafone Samsung Steel pricing nor release date yet. Stay tuned.

Lextech has created an application that would allow you to control video surveillance equipment via your iPhone. As well as watching the action on the phone, the app also lets you control the cameras via its touchscreen. According to Lextech, traditional surveillance systems use a joystick or mouse to control camera positioning. With the iPhone, the user has the potential of a much more intuitive interface to drag the camera around and zoom in on things by pinching the picture. Samsung Glyde available on Verizon. We’ve heard Samsung U940 Glyde from Verizon on May 9, so it’s not just BlackBery Curve 8330 which launched ahead of schedule, Samsung Glyde too! Samsung Glyde on Verizon comes with a 2 megapixel camera with digital zoom, GPS, stereo Bluetooth, large 240×440 pixels screen, microSD memory card slot. Supported services include V CAST Music and Video, and also VZ Navigator.
Verizon Samsung Glyde costs $249 after a $50 rebate and with a two-year contract.
