CellSpin adds Support for Symbian OS
CellSpin adds Support for Symbian OS. In order to get the real market using its service, CellSpin has announced support for Symbian OS powered smartphones. In the past only Windows Mobile 5 and 6 and BlackBerry users could use CellSpin's mobile blogging and media-sharing platform to share photos, video, text and audio on places like Blogger, eBay, Facebook, YouTube, Picasa, LiveJournal, Flickr, and Windows Live Spaces.. Addition of Symbian S60 support could certainly prove beneficial for the company, even though Symbian users are usually relying on Nokia's built-in solution or on ShoZu for all their media-sharing needs.

CellSpin software is now available on over 300 mobile phone models worldwide.

CellSpin mobile software is the first product to provide a free, secure, intelligent, one-click graphical user interface for capturing images, audio, video and text and publishing them to one or many of a user's favorite blogging, social networking, photo sharing, and auction sites simultaneously.

CellSpin currently supports sharing media with Facebook, Blogger, YouTube, Picasa, Flickr, Live Journal, Live Spaces and eBay, with more to come. CellSpin is the first and the only application that enables smartphone users to create and post audio and videos to their live eBay auctions.

According to Bobby Gurvinder Singh, CEO and co-founder of CellSpin, "Supporting Symbian, with its huge user base in Asia, Europe and US, makes CellSpin accessible globally, and allows users everywhere to share media with friends and family instantly."

CellSpin has gained tremendous attention since its introduction at the DEMO Conference in January when it was picked as one of the Top 10 Companies to launch there. It also generated significant interest at Mobile World Conference in Barcelona in February.

User feedback is typified in this email: "CellSpin makes it dead simple to capture and upload media — text, photos, and video — to a range of user-generated content sites, from Flickr to eBay."

In addition to Symbian OS, CellSpin also supports Windows Mobile 5.0 and 6.0 as well as BlackBerry. Other mobile operating systems will be added soon.

Price and availability: CellSpin is FREE to users, and available immediately at www.cellspin.net
