EmporiaLife Phone spotted on FCC
EmporiaLife Phone spotted on FCC. The "made for senior citizens" EmporiaLife phone has been spotted passing the FCC hurdle. As you can see from the image, the device looks quite simple. Large, hard-to-miss buttons and big monochrome screen are there and so is the quick access to contacts. In addition, this fairly ugly handset also features dedicated alarm clock, lock key option, and a large red button on the back for making emergency calls.

It comes in two dual-band versions (900/1800, 850/1900) and will run on AAA batteries. It has not been officially announced with any U.S. carriers but it will work on certain U.S. networks. Not a single mobile operator said they will carry the EmporiaLife, but even unlocked, it shouldn't cost much.
