StyleTap's Palm OS Emulator for iPhone, iPod Touch. We just heard, Palm Nova - Linux-based Palm 2.0 OS?, and while we're still waiting for it, you may want to use some of the older Palm OS apps on other, non-Palm OS powered devices. StyleTap just announced that it will be officially bringing its Palm OS emulator to the iPhone and iPod touch. Back in February StyleTap released a video demo of the StyleTap running Palm OS apps on a iPod Touch. The company says they have been overwhelmed by the level of interest and the video has been viewed over 800,000 times.

According to the company technically, StyleTap CrossPlatform is an excellent fit with the iPhone, as the powerful processor and large screen allows applications written for Palm OS devices to run at full speed and at full screen resolution.

The iPhone touch screen technology works in a very natural way with mobile applications originally designed for touch screen devices.

With StyleTap Platform you can run Palm OS Applications on Windows Mobile PDAs and Smartphones. StyleTap Platform allows you to run applications (and games) originally written for Palm OS handhelds on devices running Windows Mobile Pocket PC, WinMo 5.0 for Smartphone, and Windows Mobile 6.0.
