VLC Media Player for iPhone, iPod Touch

VLC Media Player for iPhone, iPod Touch. The popular VLC media player was just announced by Zodttd to be available for Apple iPhone and iPod Touch. As you may know, VLC by is a popular multi-format video and audio player for a wide variety of systems. VLC for iPhone/iPod Touch allows selected testers to playback MPEG/MPG, AVI and MP3 files. According to the author, Soon it will play: FLAC, OGG formats.

He is also researching playback of: VCD, DivX, WMA, WMV. The application requires a jailbroken phone for installation. VLC for iPhone/iPod Touch is currently in private beta, but it will be released soon. Stay tuned.
