iPhone 2.1 Firmware beta + GPS features. Following the previous iPhone Copy Paste in iPhone 2.1 SDK, A new report says that Apple has released a beta version of iPhone OS 2.1 to developers.

The firmware has shown an updated Core Location library that is capable of tracking the iPhone’s direction and velocity of movement, tracking the direction you are heading, and the speed you are traveling. It points to turn-by-turn GPS navigation. Looks like we might see a turn-by-turn GPS app after all on the Apple iPhone 3G.
