Nokia E63 officially announced
Nokia E63 officially announced. Following the recent Nokia E63 appeared at the Symbian Smartphone Show, the Nokia Eseries smartphone has finally been announced by Nokia. The Nokia E63 is the cheaper and low-end version of the more elegant Nokia E71. Both are significantly more compact than Nokia E61i.

Nokia E63 vs E71 Specifications:
+ Instead of the E71's stainless steel casing, Nokia E63 is now more plasticy.
+ Nokia E63 has an improved QWERTY keyboard — “CTRL and “CHR” now have separate keys and so do “@” and “/”.
+ Nokia E63 is slightly thicker than the E71, measuring 113×59x13 mm/126g as opposed to the E71’s 114×57x10 mm/127g.
+ If Nokia E71 has a 2.5mm jack, the E63 has now a "more regular" 3.5mm audio jack.
+ Unlike the popular Nokia E71, Nokia E63 lacks GPS.
+ Nokia E63 has 2 megapixel camera as opposed to Nokia E71’s 3.2 megapixels camera.

Nokia E63 comes with a 2.36" QVGA screen (320×240 pixels) with up to 16 million colors, Symbian 9.3 S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1, WiFi, Bluetooth, 2.4-inch screen, FM radio, and much more. The Nokia E63 also includes Files on Ovi (offering 1 GB of space for free), a service where people can get remote access to their PC files even when their computer is offline.

Nokia E63 will be available in ruby red or ultramarine blue for 199 EUR, before taxes and subsidies. Nokia E63 will be available in three versions, with one sporting proper 3G frequencies for AT&T (E63-2):
+ E63-1: Quad-band EGSM 850/900/1800/1900, WCDMA 900/2100
+ E63-2: Quad-band EGSM 850/900/1800/1900, WCDMA 850/1900
+ E63-3: Quad-band EGSM 850/900/1800/1900, WCDMA 850/2100
