Philips Xenium X520 with Backupower using standard AAA batteries. A new Philips phone called Xenium X520 has been launched. Philips Xenium X520 can use standard AAA batteries as a supplementary source of power. The battery of the phone line from the famous Philips Xenium provides up to 8 hours of talktime and up to 1 month - in standby mode.

Interestingly, this mobile phone has 'Backupower', the technology of backup power that will add up to 2.5 hours of talk time and up to one week of standby time with standard lithium AAA battery. It allows you to use as a disposable alkaline or lithium batteries and nickel-metal-hydride (NiMH) batteries.

Philips Xenium X520 features a 2 megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth (A2DP) support, FM radio with RDS, music player and a microSD memory card slot. Philips Xenium X520 will go on sale in March 2009.
