A special gold version of the Android-3.0-Honeycomb-powered Motorola Xoom tablet will be handed out to the hosts and the nominees at the Oscars 2011. Other than the gold rear surface - complete with a custom leather envelope case, the specification of the Motorola XOOM Gold Edition for Oscars will apparently be identical to the original one for the general public such as a 10.1-inch display, a dual-core processor with each core running at 1GHz, a 5MP rear-facing camera with 720P video capture, a 2MP front-facing camera, multiple sensors, Bluetooth and more.
