Samsung has unveiled a touchscreen feature phone in South Korea - it's the SHW-A175S. The feature phone is apparently NOT an Android smartphone. Rather it runs on Samsung’s feature phone platform with Haptic UI. However, it's not just a basic feature phone, because the touchscreen mobile phone is an NFC-enabled device that allows for contactless payments.
Samsung SHW-A175S also features a 3.2-inch 240×400 WQVGA AMOLED touchscreen display, 3G, 3.2MP camera, GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi, T-DMB mobile TV receiver, memory microSD slot up to 16GB, and also a 3.5mm headset jack. No word on pricing nor the availability date, but it's expected to come to South Korea via via SKT.
