ZTE Racer 2, ZTE Blade, ZTE V9+ tablet available in Thailand
Chinese handset maker ZTE and Thailand’s largest mobile phone distributor Wireless Device Supply Co. Ltd. (WDS) have announced the joint release of three Android devices in Thailand, the ZTE Racer 2 smartphone, the ZTE Blade smartphone and the ZTE V9+ tablet. According to the press release, The three Android terminals were chosen for the joint release because of their wide array of functions, cost-effective price points and popularity in the United States and Europe.

ZTE Racer II is available for 3,990 Baht, a special price for AIS customers when they sign up for an add-on 129 Baht package. The package includes 100 minutes of talk time and 100MB of data on the AIS 3G/EDGE+ network. This package is valid for 6 bill cycles and lasts until March 31, 2012. To sign up, call *212352.

ZTE Blade smartphone runs on Android 2.2 Froyo OS and has a 3.5-inch wide screen. The Android phone costs only 5,790 Baht. ZTE V9+ tablet also runs the same operating system with a 1GHz CPU. The Android tablet costs 10,900 Baht.

ZTE Racer 2, ZTE Blade, ZTE V9+ tablet are already available for purchase in Thailand at Telewiz shops and WDS retailers.

In 2011, ZTE’s smartphone shipments exceeded 12 million, a 400 per cent year-on-year increase. That figure is expected to double in 2012.

Good to know that these cool smartphones and tablets are now available in Thailand. I love these ZTE developed gadgets.
