HUBER+SUHNER to showcase its new easy deployment small cells and IBC/DAS products at CTIA Super Mobility 2015

US launch of new Masterline Ultimate SC and integration of Cube Optics technology demonstrates how to build next generation small cell wireless infrastructures, worldwide launch of new antennas for IBC/DAS

HUBER+SUHNER, a global leader in connectivity solutions, is set to showcase its powerful new IBC/DAS and small cell solutions and demonstrate how easy they are to deploy at CTIA Super Mobility Week in Las Vegas, 9-11 September.

The company will use the show as the launch pad for its small cell campaign in the Americas, with the unveiling of its new MASTERLINE Ultimate SC solution, a fiber optic cable system that is a very compact and easy to deploy plug and play solution for the next generation of remote radio heads. It can be used as a single point of deployment for up to three or four small cells and also has the ability to daisy chain fiber out of this unit and actually add more and more nodes to a solution or to a network as the operator grows the network. Furthermore with the integration of Cube Optics complete, new key technology completes the Huber+Suhner small cell solution by unleashing new fiber capacity and resilience to all small cell deployments.

Huge small cells deployment
“There is a rapidly growing need to improve cellular and mobile broadband coverage and capacity and the increasing deployment of small cells provides a good answer to this. We have taken the tried, tested and trusted technology that HUBER+SUHNER has applied for macro cells and developed a range of equally innovative and easy to deploy small cell solutions. These are specifically targeted at the installation of next generation small cell wireless infrastructure products, And it is based on fiber rather than legacy copper networks,” explains Drew Martin, HUBER+SUHNER’s Fiber Optic Division Market Manager of Cell Sites. “Our future-proofed installation solutions are globally accepted by system vendors and mobile operators alike, as the best-in-class products in terms of ease of installation, robustness and efficiency.”

HUBER+SUHNER is the market leader for Fiber to the Antenna (FTTA), Power to the Antenna (PTTA) and Hybrid to the Antenna (HTTA) infrastructure for installing Remote Radio Heads. With an extensive radio frequency, fiber optics and low frequency portfolio that has already made significant contributions across a range of industries, HUBER+SUHNER is well placed to demonstrate its expertise at next month’s CTIA Super Mobility event.

One antenna for LTE frequencies
The company will also use its presence at the event to launch its extensive portfolio of IBC/DAS indoor antennas, including the SENCITY Rondo, which will be shown for the first time anywhere in the world. HUBER+SUHNER’s latest antenna is omnidirectional and multiband, covering almost all LTE frequency bands and beyond. Responding to the highest standards of the crucial PIM (Passive Intermodulation) characteristics, the SENCITY Rondo is meeting the ever-increasing market demands for indoor coverage of mobile communication voice and data traffic to cover an ever wider range of services.

HUBER+SUHNER will also be proving how quick and easy the new solutions are with live demonstrations of the Quick-Fit plus assembly process for its cables (incl. plenum cables) and connectors which have been developed for IBC/DAS applications.

HUBER+SUHNER has a wide range of experience in the development and production of first-class radio frequency, fiber optics and low frequency solutions for the global market, with an extremely comprehensive product portfolio that can be relied on in the wireless infrastructure market – allowing mobile operators to reduce their total cost of ownership whilst making their networks future-proof and reliable.

With US operations in Charlotte, North Carolina, the company is a leading provider of interconnectivity solutions and innovative services in the communications business. Providing comprehensive services from the design to the completed system solution, HUBER+SUHNER’s experience in major global projects enables it to consult its customers on the right product choice, method of installation and network design.
