Acer Aspire One 1Acer Aspire One. Acer Aspire One is a ‘mini laptop’ aka ‘netbook computer’ that should be Asus Eee PC’s challenger. It’s small, portable, functional and also cheap! (the entry-level One costs a very pocket-friendly £220).

Acer Aspire One mini notebook comes with a 8.9-inch TFT screen which outputs at a standard 1024×600 resolution and all is powered by a three cell Li-ion battery that runs at 2200mAH, 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, Mobile Intel 945GSE Express (GMA950) and 82801GBM (ICH-7m) chipsets, full-QWERTY keyboard, 1GB of RAM, 8GB SSD. E-TEN acquired by Acer

E-TEN acquired by AcerE-TEN acquired by Acer. E-TEN has released a number of hugely successful Pocket PC phones that featured combinations of GPRS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and 3.5G GSM functionality each enhanced by exclusive in-house developed software applications. And recently Acer announced that it has entered into an agreement to buy E-TEN Information Systems Co. Ltd.
