
We’re already aware of the Dell Mini 3i launched this summer in China. Recently, we’ve heard that a new version will be launched in Brazil. Called, the Dell Mini 3iX, it looks similar with the Chinese version, but instead of running oPhone – the Chinese version of Google Android, it apparently runs the original Android. If the specifications found in the Chinese version remain unchanged, it will feature a 3.5 inch screen, 640 x 360 pixel resolution (262k colors), GPS, WiFi, 3G on the 850, 1900 and 2100 MHz bands, a 3 megapixel camera, microSD card slot. It measures 122 mm x 58 mm x 11.7 mm and weighs 103 grams.

HTC Touch Cruise aka lolite announced. HTC Touch Cruise a.k.a HTC lolite has finally been announced by HTC with inbuilt GPS. The Touch Cruise is the first mobile phone to offer HTC Footprints, an application experience that enables people to permanently chronicle their special moments by capturing a digital postcard on their phone. Once captured, Footprints provides the ability to take notes and an audio clip of that favourite restaurant or special place while identifying its specific geographical location. In addition to identifying each postcard with its specific GPS co-ordinates, Footprints also auto-names each postcard with its general location or area.

3UK: Faster HSDPA and HSUPA 3G speeds. 3UK has announced that the network operator is planning to have 14.4Mbps speeds rolled out across the UK by 2010. 3 has already completed a rollout to give more than 95 per cent of the UK’s population access to 3.6Mb/s HSDPA. It hopes to raise that speed to 7.2Mb/s by 2010 – the same time that the big cities get 14.4Mb/s HSDPA and 5.7Mb/s HSUPA.
