McAfee Antivirus for iPhone? Yeah, we know that there’s not a virus for the iPhone yet because of how tightly Apple intends to control the third party application deployments. Apparently, that doesn’t stop McAfee from developing its software — the so called iVirusScan — for the platform. Beta version of McAfee’s anti virus for iPhone has been found at http://ipkg.mcafeemobile.com/ and users have successfully installed/uninstalled the application.
To install the beta software (called iVirusScan) if you really want to try it out, just visit this url http://ipkg.mcafeemobile.com/ and choose iVirusScan in McAfee category.
Note: This is still a rumor and there is no official press info on the development project yet, and you may ignore the software installation on your iPhone.
