Rogers HTC Touch Diamond sans any contracts for $599.99? A new report says that Rogers Wireless Canada will be offering the HTC Touch Diamond for $599.99 without any contracts. The latest issue of UR Magazine, free to all Rogers Wireless subscribers, is currently being mailed out all across Canada and is featuring the HTC Touch Diamond. While the device doesn’t appear anywhere on the Rogers website and no release date or contract pricing has been given, the unsubsidised price was published as being $599.99.

A toned down version of the TouchFLO 3D user interface that is found on the HTC Touch Diamond, ‘HTC Touch FLO 2D’ UI that’s designed for lower end touch screen-based smartphones such as the HTC Touch Viva (also known as the Opal) and HTC Touch, has been extracted from the HTC Viva and ported to older HTC touchscreen devices. HTC Touch Diamond for Rogers. Some internal docs are showing HTC Touch Diamond will be “coming soon!” to Rogers. That’s the GSM version, and it’s going to work with Rogers’ 3G network. It will also have the same 3G bands that AT&T uses in the US.

We already heard EISA Award for Samsung G810, and it’s now time for HTC smartphone, HTC Touch Diamond has also been named “European Smart Phone 2008-2009″ by the members of EISA, the European Imaging and Sound Association. HTC Touch Diamond approved by the FCC. Following the previous report about Official HTC Touch Diamond Firmware - 850Mhz radio ROM, HTC Touch Diamond has finally been approved by the FCC. Interestingly, the spec is now US-friendly with US 3G HSDPA support, that’s great in the United States.
