Verizon to offer Visual Voicemail. From the previous post, we already heard Visual Voicemail License (Sprint’s Samsung Instinct + Klausner Technologies), and Now, Verizon will also offer the visual-based voicemail system to its subscriber-base in late July to early August. If its competitors (AT&T and Sprint) are offering the service for free to iPhone and Instinct owners, Unfortunately, The Visual Voicemail from Verizon will cost an additional $1.99 on top of the monthly wireless bill (regular plan pricing).
LG Chocolate 3, LG “Voyager Refresh” (it’s still unclear – hardware or firmware refresh), Motorola “Utopia” and Motorola “Blaze” will be the first handsets to be offered with the Visual Voicemail system from Verizon. The service will be available through a handy BREW application that can be downloaded over the air (OTA).
