HP iPAQ Data Messenger and iPAQ Voice Messenger unveiled
HP iPAQ Data Messenger and iPAQ Voice Messenger unveiled. Two new smartphones - HP iPAQ Data Messenger and HP iPAQ Voice Messenger have been unveiled. One of both comes with a touchscreen and the other one a ROKR-style QWERTY keyboard. Both devices come with Windows Mobile 6.1, HSDPA support, WiFi, GPS receiver, 3 megapixel camera with LED flash, Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR and a microSD memory slot.

HP iPAQ Data Messenger has a 2.8-inch touchscreen with QVGA (320×240 pixels), a slide-out QWERTY keyboard on board. This device looks like a HTC TyTN II competitor. It will come on the end of November for about $680.

HP iPAQ Voice Messenger comes with a 2.4-inch QVGA non-touchscreen, and the mentioned QWERTY keyboard which is fitted into an alphanumeric keypad — that’s two characters per key on its 20-key alphanumeric keypad. It will be available by mid-November for about $570.
