PdaNet is now available on the iPhone. Just like the WMWiFiRouter and WalkingHotspot applications that aim to turn your Symbian S60 or Windows Mobile smartphone into a portable WiFi hotspot, This application will be a real WiFi router to your PC or Mac computer. It allows your laptop to connect wirelessly via the 3G network in the iPhone 3G or EDGE data connection for the original iPhone.

PDA Net is available for jailbroken iPhones through Cydia. The PDA Net application is included in the default Cydia application repository sources. You should find PDA Net app by searching for "PDA".

How to use iPhone as WiFi Router using PDANet, Here's step by step to do:
0. You'll need a jailbroken iPhone/iPhone 3G. There are many tips to do that on the sidebar.
1. Go to "Cydia" and Search for "PDA Net" or just "PDA" to autofilter the list of all apps down to the one we want: PDANet.
2. Install the PDANet app.
3. Set up an AdHoc WiFi Network (computer-to-computer) network on your laptop (or desktop):
- On PC: on your Control Panel > “Network Connections”
- On Mac: on the Airport icon in the upper right of your screen and select "Add New network"
4. Connect your iPhone to the ad-hoc network (via WiFi settings).
5. Open the PdaNet application.
6. Make sure your WiFi connection is active.
7. Done, and Enjoy!
