HTC Touch Dual - CTIA 2008. HTC is showing off their HTC Touch Dual for the US market. Already available in Europe and Asia, the HTC Touch Dual is the next-generation of the HTC Touch. This cellphone comes with WinMo 6.1 Professional OS in the U.S.

Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphone has been already floating around Europe with the Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional OS for a few months, but this is the first time for Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional available for US market.

HTC Touch Dual Specifications:

+ 2 megapixel camera for shooting photos/videos and a second camera for video calls
+ Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850/900/1800/1900Mhz) and HSDPA (850/1900Mhz) connectivity
+ TouchFLO™, a touch-screen technology that allows finger-touch scrolling, panning and photo zooming
+ Slide-out 20-key keyboard for quick dialing, text messages and e-mail
+ Microsoft Office Mobile for working on documents and getting your Outlook e-mail
+ Live HTC Home™ featuring time and weather display, quick launcher, and one-touch ring-tone settings

HTC Touch Dual has a 400Mhz processor, 2.6 inch touchscreen display, 256MB ROM/128MB RAM, Bluetooth 2.0, and microSD card slot - all powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. HTC Touch Dual also features TouchFLO, Office Mobile, Live HTC Home, a 2-megapixel camera, quad-band GSM support and HSDPA connectivity. Pricing is not known yet.
