New Internet Explorer Mobile Browser for WinMo 6.1 Video Preview
New Internet Explorer Mobile Browser for WinMo 6.1 Video Preview. We've heard from the last post, Windows Mobile 6.1 Official + New Internet Explorer Mobile, and WinMo 6.1 demo video. Recently, Brighthand reported a video preview of the next two versions of Internet Explorer Mobile. The new version of Internet Explorer isn't even in customers' hands yet, and Microsoft is already looking ahead to the next one, which will add support for embedded Flash video.

The New Internet Explorer Mobile is based completely and entirely on code from the desktop version of IE6 and is ported to work on the WM6.1 platform. The browser is still in development, but it seems, it worked beautifully on a touchscreen handset. Yeah, this is not the revised IE Mobile that is shipping with Windows Mobile 6.1. The current WM6.1 IE Mobile includes pan and zoom features that allow for a degree of desktop-like browsing, but the upcoming IE Mobile is a complete overhaul that makes the current version look like weak.

The first update to Internet Explorer Mobile is included in Windows Mobile 6.1. Devices running this new operating system are expected to be released soon, and upgrades for current smartphones are also on the way. Microsoft plans to release the next IE Mobile update later this year.
