Nokia 6124 to support NTT DoCoMo's i-mode. Nokia in cooperation with Far EasTone Telecommunications (FET) will launch a customized handset, the 6124 classic. Nokia 6124 Classic will be coming to Taiwan market with support for i-mode. The Nokia classic i-mode, which supports 3.5G HSDPA technology, will be Nokia's first customized handset that supports NTT DoCoMO's i-mode value-added services, said CK Cherng, general manager, Nokia Taiwan.

FET, which is NTT DoCoMo's partner for the promotion of i-mode services in Taiwan, has already teamed up with other international vendors, including Motorola, Sony Ericsson, Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics, to jointly launch handsets that support i-mode services.

Nokia 6124 classic Specifications:
Nokia 6124 classic is a dual mode portable multimedia computer supporting EGSM 850/900/1800/1900 and WCDMA/HSDPA 900/2100. The Nokia 6124 classic supports photos, and videos with two built-in cameras, a 2 megapixel, and a QVGA front camera for video calls. Enjoy videos, music and graphics on the 2" QVGA (240 x 320 pixels), 16M color main display. Additional Nokia 6124 classic features include USB 2.0, Bluetooth 2.0 EDR with A2DP, and MicroSD memory card support.
