Sprint iDEN BlackBerry + WiFi later this year. For you who're Nextel iDEN network-fans, there's some good news. Sprint CEO Dan Hesse announced that they will bring BlackBerry smartphone to Nextel customers which is loyal to iDEN network-based service.

The Blackberry smartphone will feature WiFi. Hesse also said that the new iDEN BlackBerry will be available "later this year". The phone will be accompanied by other phones from Sanyo, Samsung, Motorola and LG that will rock the Sprint CDMA, but will use Nextel capabilities for push-to-talk. Stay tuned.
