Griffin's iTrip AutoPilot - Car Stereo Adapter to Charge-Control-Play iPhone, iPod
Griffin's iTrip AutoPilot - Car Stereo Adapter to Charge-Control-Play iPhone, iPod. Griffin Technology just announced the release of its iTrip AutoPilot, an iPhone-compatible car stereo adapter. A nice accessory for your iPhone/iPod, Griffin's premium in-car iPod play solution lets you play and control your iPod as it charges.

The iTrip AutoPilot connects to the dock connector on your iPhone, and plugs into your vehicle’s cigarette lighter or accessory jack.

iTrip AutoPilot features a built-in FM transmitter that sports “SmartScan” technology, which automatically finds the best frequency to transmit on, then displays it on the device so you can tune into that frequency on your car radio to hear your iPhone’s music play. RDS technology shows song information on your RDS-enabled car radio display. AutoPilot playback control also puts a set of iPod play controls in easy reach -- you can stash your iPod out of sight in a glove-box or under the seat and still control playback.

Griffin's iTrip AutoPilot Features :
+ AutoPilot controls iPod playback from your dash or console's cigarette lighter with the touch of a finger.
+ Industry-leading SmartScan does all the work -- scans the radio dial for the three best frequencies then saves them automatically to 3 programmable presets for easy recall at the touch of a button.
+ New SmartSound™ Plus technology delivers clear sound under real-world conditions.
+ New high-contrast display is easy to read.
+ Three-stage light ring changes color to indicate the charging status of your iPod battery.
+ RDS technology shows song information on your RDS-enabled car radio display.
