This mobile phone game is based on Sci Fi Channel's Battlestar Galactica. The action game places the player aboard the Galactica in a top-down shooter position for an adventure that stretches from one end of the galaxy to another.

Battlestar Galactica mobile game features 24 missions plus the training mode, and quite solid graphics. In the space-based shooter, players can pilot three types of customizable Viper or Raptor ships while defending the human refugee fleet against relentless Cylon attacks.

Depending on the user's carrier, Battlestar Galactica Mobile Game will cost about $3 to play for a month, or about $8 to buy outright. The game is now available on most major wireless carriers in North America, No word on non-U.S. release date, but it will be available worldwide soon.
