Sony Ericsson MD400 and MD400g HSPA USB Modems. Sony Ericsson announced two HSPA USB modems - MD400 and MD400g. Aside from the HSPA radio, both devices (MD400 Mobile Broadband USB Modem, and MD400g Mobile Broadband GPS USB Modem) also pack microSD and Memory Stick Micro (M2) slots and the latter model (MD400g).

Apart from an in-built antenna, an innovative additional swivel antenna optimizes the performance when in use. When closed, it covers and protects the retractable USB connector. The MD400g also has an in-built GPS receiver which automatically shows the user’s current location.

Both MD400 Mobile Broadband USB Modem and MD400g Mobile Broadband GPS USB Modem will be available in two colours "Exquisite Ebony" and "Lustrous White" globally in Q4 2008.

I had MD400 since April 2008. On April 2009 this USB was dead, flash did not blink and Windows can not detect it.
I got new one for replacement after RMA and now, Nov 2009 modem was dead again.

Not fully compatible with Win Vista Sp2 and Win 7, 32 and 64bit.

I HAD MD400 SINCE JUNE 2009. ON MARCH 2011 THIS USB WAS DEAD, flash did not blink and Windows can not detect it.
