Pantech UTStarcom TXT8010 to be offered as Verizon Blitz. As a follow-up to the previous report about Pantech UTStarcom TXT8010 on FCC, we've recently heard a report that The full slide-out QWERTY keyboard equipped smartphone will be offered by Verizon Wireless as 'Blitz'.

The cellphone features a 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, and a microSD slot. Verizon Blitz will have also VCAST Music support, VZ Navigator.

Verizon Blitz aka Pantech UTStarcom TXT8010 will be available on August 8th through Wal-Mart, followed by Best Buy on September 28th.

ive had this phone for a year and i have had no problems until now ! , one day it turned off and it would never turn back on unless it was on the charger and it only stayed on for about 5minutes ! so i took it to the verizon store and the guy ordered me a new one then my battery doesnt work now ! im very dissapointed ! ):< i will never get that phone again !

I've got the same phone. it worked when i got it, then it died and my wall charger broke, so it was dead for awihle. now i got a different charger for it, a usb charger for the computer, and now it doesn't turn on at all. i'm upset because i really like this phone.
