Remote iPhone Apps disabling confirmed by Steve Jobs

Remote iPhone Apps disabling confirmed by Steve Jobs. As a follow-up to the previous post about Apple can Blacklist and Disable iPhone Apps, Steve Jobs in a recent interview with the Wall Street Journal confirmed that Apple did indeed build a remote iPhone application disabling feature into the iPhone's Mac OS, but He says that Apple will only use the feature when warranted.
"Hopefully we never have to pull that lever, but we would be irresponsible not to have a lever like that to pull."
With this confirmation, it seems iPhone 3G users shouldn't have any problems if it applies only for malicious applications.
