No More SMS Delivery Reports on Verizon. SMS delivery confirmations have started being discontinued by Verizon Wireless to reduce network traffic. The discontinuation of this service reportedly started on Sept 9th on a regional basis.

The switch should be complete in all regions by the end of this month. Customers will no more see the quick icon changes that happen when a text message has been delivered.
